Spotify already had a good thing going by bundling Spotify Premium and Hulu for $12.99 each month. Now, the music streaming service sweetened the deal even more by no longer charging extra for a Hulu subscription.
That means you get on-demand, ad-free access to Spotify’s library of music and podcasts — along with Hulu’s ad-supported plan — for just $9.99 each month. Best of all, the updated Spotify Premium plan is available to new and existing Spotify Premium subscribers.
For new subscribers, they need only visit this link and sign up for Spotify Premium. New subscribers can also get a 30-day free trial to feel it out and see if Spotify and Hulu are to their liking. If new subscribers have an existing Hulu account, they’re still eligible for the promotion if they switch billing to Spotify and don’t have add-ons on Hulu.
Existing Spotify Premium subscribers can activate their free Hulu subscription in the Your Services page in account settings. Finally, those who already have the Spotify Premium and Hulu bundle from last year don’t have to do anything — the $12.99 price will be automatically reduced to $9.99.
There are a few caveats with the promotion, the first being that you can’t add premium channels like Showtime and HBO to your account. That’s particularly relevant to students, who pay $4.99 for Spotify Premium, Hulu, and Showtime.
Also, those who have a family plan are excluded from this promotion. Even if you could just cancel the family plan and move everyone over to individual Spotify Premium accounts, you’d be spending much more money each month.
You have until June 10 or while supplies last to get Spotify Premium and Hulu for $9.99 each month.
