- The Samsung Galaxy M51 is now available in India.
- The phone packs a 6.7-inch screen, Snapdragon 730G chipset, and a 7,000mAh battery.
- It will go on sale on September 18 from Rs. 24,999.
The Samsung Galaxy M51 made its bow in Europe earlier this month. Now, the range-topping M series smartphone has confirmed details for the Indian market.
The Korean firm has also clarified several vague details from the previous announcement, including the chipset in use. That role goes to the Snapdragon 730G which is also employed by the Poco X2 and Xiaomi Mi Note 10. Galaxy M51 buyers will also receive 128GB of storage and a choice of either 6GB or 8GB of RAM.
For photographers, the Galaxy M51 features a quad rear camera array headlined by a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary camera, a 12MP 123-degree ultra-wide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. Up front, there’s a 32MP selfie camera mounted in the 6.7-inch AMOLED screen’s punch-hole.

The device’s headlining feature remains a 7,000mAh battery, which embarrasses the rest of Samsung’s flagship fleet in 2020. That’s 2,000mAh larger than the Galaxy S20 Ultra‘s battery, and some 2,500mAh larger than the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. It’s not yet clear how long the M51 will last between charges, but a 25W charger is included in the box.
Rounding out the package is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a headphone jack, and dual SIM slots with a dedicated microSD card slot.
