The Duet isn’t the highest spec option you’ll find on our Chromebook deals list, but it may well represent the best value for money. It runs on a MediaTek Helio P60T processor with 128GB of storage — plenty for most apps and games. Just remember that the Chromebook Duet is indeed a tablet so you’ll only have one USB-C port to work with. On the bright side, it features cameras on both the front and back.

2. 2019 Asus touchscreen Chromebook
This ultraportable and lightweight 15.6-inch Chromebook is powered by up to a quad-core Intel Pentium N4200 processor and gives you the freedom of up to 10 hours of battery life. It’s also the first ASUS Chromebook to feature a NanoEdge design, which gives you a big screen in a compact chassis for easier multitasking and more immersive entertainment.

Our Acer pick of the cheap Chromebook deals is the Acer Chromebook 715. It offers a Full HD display, eighth-gen Intel Core i3 processor, and 4GB DDR4 RAM. Similarly to the Samsung above, 12 hours of battery life mean that you’re unlikely to be caught short of a power socket, but it arguably has a much sleeker and elegant design than the Samsung. It also offers that underrated feature that many Chromebooks lack: a dedicated numerical keypad.
5. Dell Chromebook 11 3100 2-in-1
Sticking with the theme of Dell 2-in-1, the 3100 is a light and speedy clamshell Chromebook that comes in a black finish and can stand up to the rough-and-tumble student lifestyle. A dual-core Intel Celeron processor and 4GB of RAM helps to keep the 11.6-inch HD touchscreen running smoothly.
