Is this a good week for trailers or what? Disney Plus has essentially taken over our roundup of new movie trailers and TV teasers this Friday. The fast-growing streaming platform pulled out new trailers and what it calls “sizzle reels” for a bunch of upcoming Marvel and Star Wars shows, eclipsing anything any other streaming service might have had to announce. Still, we’ve added some cool new Netflix trailers to the list and one from Apple TV Plus. Take a look!

The best new movie trailers and TV show teasers for upcoming streaming titles

Andor

Andor is an original series set in the Star Wars universe starring Diego Luna from Rogue One. The series will stream exclusively on Disney Plus. Don’t get too excited just yet, however, as that’ll only happen sometime in 2022. What can you expect? The brief new trailer below promises over 200 cast members, lots of creatures, and cinematic treatment that doesn’t fall short of a full-fledged big-budget Star Wars film.

Loki

The Norse god of mischief is landing on your streaming screens in May 2021. Tom Hiddleston takes center stage in this upcoming Disney Plus series that’ll see Loki fight the Time Variance Authority: an organization that governs different realities in the Marvel multiverse. The trailer also shows Owen Wilson as a TVA employee and ends with Loki jumping out of a plane, DB Cooper-style. I guess that mystery is solved now.

The Falcon And The Winter Soldier

Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan return in their titular roles of The Falcon (Sam Wilson) and The Winter Soldier (Bucky Barnes) in this six-part Disney Plus TV series. The first look trailer reveals a March 19 streaming date for the show that’ll see the two Marvel characters team up for an action-packed adventure.

Wanda Vision

A cute little trailer for Wanda Vision also appeared as part of Disney’s Investor Day announcements. The series hits Disney Plus on January 15. The new trailer shows the couple living the suburban life, only they keep jumping from one timeline to the other. Some scenes show a very 1950s-like setting in black and white tones while others fast-forward to a colorful 70s-80s vibe. Ultimately, the duo is seen embroiled in a fight for their home, pushing their superpowers to the max.

What If…?

Space, time, and reality are more than a linear path in this incoming animated series from Marvel Studios. It explores the alternate realities of the multiverse and seeks to redefine major moments from MCU films. For instance, what if Peggy Carter was Captain America instead of Steve Rogers? Each episode will take a pivotal moment from the MCU and turn it on its head. The show lands on Disney Plus summer 2021.

Ms. Marvel

The Ms. Marvel sizzle reel introduces us to newcomer Iman Vellani. She’ll star as Kamala Khan in the upcoming superhero series set to arrive on Disney Plus late 2021. The show will tell the story of 16-year-old Kamala, a Pakistani-American growing up in Jersey City. A big fan of Captain Marvel, she finds herself struggling at home and school until she gets superpowers.

The Bad Batch

This new animated Star Wars story headed to Disney Plus comes from the creators of The Clone Wars and Rebels. It follows a crew of experimental clones from the Bad Batch (first introduced in The Clone Wars) as they make their way in a rapidly changing galaxy with exceptional combat skills.

Servant (season 2)

Changing gears from those explosive Disney Plus trailers, here’s a new Apple TV Plus teaser for season 2 of M. Night Shyamalan’s Apple TV Plus original. Servant did well in its first season with the story of a creepy nanny and a delusional mother, but can it keep audiences interested for round two? Watch the trailer and let us know what you think.

Cobra Kai (season 3)

Netflix’s popular martial arts production is returning for a third bout next month. If you haven’t seen the show until now, I suggest you give the first two seasons a watch. The series starts 30 years after the events of the original Karate Kid (1984) movie and is entertaining to the bone.

The Midnight Sky

This new movie trailer for Netflix’s upcoming post-apocalyptic thriller shows George Clooney as an old and lonely scientist living at an icy Arctic observatory with a young girl. Catastrophic events have taken place on Earth. It’s up to Clooney to warn a space crew (Felicity Jones and crew) scheduled to return home of the perils that await them on the planet.
