Can you believe it’s already December? Streaming services are brimming with holiday and new year’s releases. Thanks to that we’ve got a bunch of new movie trailers and TV teasers to show off today. On a side note, expect lots of HBO Max trailers in the coming weeks and months as Warner Bros has decided to debut its entire 2021 stock of movies on the platform, starting with Wonder Woman 1984.

Carey Mulligan and Ralph Fiennes are excavating burial mounds in this new movie trailer for a film aptly called The Dig. Based on a true story of historical discovery, this Netflix original will find its way to streaming screens January 29.

Lupin

Based on the fictional character created by French writer Maurice Leblanc, Netflix’s Lupin marries a high-stakes heist with a personal vendetta story in a contemporary crime drama. Apart from its celebrated literary roots, the series boasts Now You See Me director Louis Leterrier’s magic touch. It’s a classic recipe for entertainment. You can expect it on Netflix January 8.

Song Exploder: Season 2

Dua Lipa, Nine Inch Nails, The Killers, and Natalia Lafourcade come together in this new trailer for season 2 of Netflix’s music documentary series Song Exploder. The trailer shows the artists expressing some deeply personal feelings and opening up about the inspiration behind some of their most famous hits such as “Love Again,” “When You Were Young,” “Hurt,” and others.

Small Axe: Alex Wheatle

This week, Amazon Prime Video released a new movie trailer for the fourth title in its Steve McQueen film collection. The movie is inspired by the real-life story of Alex Wheatle. Despite being shuffled around by social services all his life and getting arrested in the Brixton Uprising of 1981, he emerged as a successful writer and attained an MBE, one of Britain’s highest honors.
