  • Samsung has unveiled its lengthy Android 11 update roadmap.
  • The list includes more than 40 of the Korean firm’s tablets and smartphones.
  • The Galaxy S20 series will kick off the One UI 3.0 rollout in December 2020.

Samsung has unveiled its lengthy Android 11 update roadmap, which will see a slew of its smartphones and tablets receive One UI 3.0 in the coming months. Spotted by TizenHelp, the roadmap stems from Egypt so take the dates as a rough guide if you happen to be in Europe, India, or the US.

In total, the roadmap includes the firm’s flagship lines from 2020 and 2019, as well as a smattering of phones from its tablet, Galaxy A, and Galaxy M families.

The Galaxy S20 series – including the S20 Plus and S20 Ultra – will be the first to receive stable Android 11 builds as early as this month. In January 2021, the Note 20 series, Z Flip and Z Fold 2, Note 10 series, and S10 series will be next in line for the update. Samsung’s roadmap extends all the way to September 2021, which will see the Android 11 update finally arrive on the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019).

Not every notable Samsung phone and tablet is included on the list. The Samsung Galaxy S10e and the Galaxy S20 FE are the surprise omissions, while the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus is also oddly absent. Those still rocking Galaxy S9 and Note 9 devices will not see the Android 11 update reach their aging devices.
