For those ready for a new device but looking for the best deal possible, finding the best Verizon deals doesn’t have to be a trawl. One of Verizon’s signature promotions is the classic buy one, get one free, which is often applied to some of the hottest new smartphones on the market. The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is one of the latest device to become available on this scheme, saving you a total of around $1,000.

On this and any of the BOGO promotions, there’s always the caveat that you need to buy both phones and add a new unlimited line of service, That means this deal is best utilized with a friend or family member who also has their eyes on the latest and greatest from Samsung. You’ll then receive the value of the second Note 20, or another eligible phone, back in bill credits across the length of the new contract.

2. Get a free Google Pixel 5 plus $100 with trade-in

The hotly anticipated Google Pixel 5 is now available on Verizon. Better yet, you can get it for free and even with an extra $100 in your pocket when you switch to the network.

The retail value of the Pixel 5 is $699.99, but you can save most of that straight away with an eligible trade-in. As with many phones on Verizon, you can save $550 by trading in your old phone. If you’re switching to the network as well, there’s the added incentive of an extra $250 welcome bonus. $150 of that will be put towards the remaining balance of the Pixel 5, making it effectively free. The remaining $100 will be sent to you as an eGift Card within eight weeks of purchase.

3. Save up to $1,100 on the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 range

If you’ve been itching to grab one of the latest iPhones, Verizon is making the deal even sweeter right now. Big Red is offering up to $1,100 off a second Apple device when you buy the iPhone 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12, or 12 Pro with a new line on the Above, Beyond, Do, Play, or Get Unlimited plans. The only catch is that you’ll have to trade in your current device if you want the full value.

The exact amount you can save depends on the model you want and whether you’re switching, but all four iPhones have various trade-in and other promotions available right now. If you trade in your phone and switch to the network then your total savings can be up to $800, making the latest iPhone effectively free.

4. Grab your next phone for free

How does a free Google Pixel 4a sound? There are several great phones that are free right now from Verizon as long as you add a new line of service on a qualifying unlimited plan. You’ll pay for the device upfront, but you’ll receive bill credits for the full value of it over 24 months.

5. Get the Google Pixel 4a 5G for $5 per month, and promotional prices

While not quite free like the phones above, there are Verizon deals on several devices right now which means that they’re as low as $5 per month, rather than the higher prices they usually carry.

The most notable of the savings are on the Pixel 4a 5G. It’s down from $24 to $5 per month right now.

This holiday season is proving to be the year of the video game, and now Verizon is getting in on the action. Right now, you can get up to one year of free PlayStation service when you grab a new phone with monthly installments. You’ll have to choose the Play More, Do More, or Get More plan to get the perk though. Xbox users are unfortunately out of luck, as there’s no alternative offer in place.
