Another Friday has rolled in, and with it, a bunch of new content has arrived on streaming services. First, you have The White Tiger on Netflix that’s received some decent reviews. There’s also the new episode of WandaVision to catch on Disney Plus, and over on Hulu you have the complete season of murder-thriller The Sister.
That said, there are some exciting titles headed for release in the coming days. We saw five new movie trailers and TV teasers this week that we thought you would enjoy. Without further ado, here’s what’s premiering soon on your favorite streaming services.
The best new movie trailers and TV show teasers for upcoming streaming titles
Boss Level
A time loop thriller starring Mel Gibson, Naomi Watts, and Frank Grillo in the lead roles, Boss Level looks like an action-packed ride. The new movie trailer sets the premise for a familiar tale. A guy (Grillo) is racing against time to save the love of his life. However, he keeps reliving the same day over and over again in which he’s killed-off by crazy assassins. Getting out of this endless loop will take overthrowing “the boss,” aka Gibson, and it’s obviously not going to be an easy task. The new film hits Hulu on March 5.
The Equalizer
No, it’s not Denzel Washington playing the titular role of the vigilante crime-fighter in this CBS All Access TV series. Instead, you get Queen Latifah donning the hat of the enigmatic bike-riding tough gal. There is more talk than action in this new trailer, but that’s probably for a good reason. Forced badassery is not a good look for the Queen. Yet, for all you know, the show might just attract fans of the original Edward Woodward series.
Fate: The Winx Saga
If Harry Potter were a Netflix teen drama, it would look something like this show. It’s a world full of magic, and the new series trailer doesn’t let us forget that. The concept is also very Potterish with teens learning how to use their powers at a magical boarding school protected by an invisible boundary to keep out…well…evil magical creatures.
Flack
Anna Paquin is a fire-putter-outer PR rep to celebrities. She is skilled at managing scandals, or as she calls them in the new trailer, “challenges.” The show initially premiered in the UK last year in February but is only now crossing over for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Check out its latest teaser clip below. You can also start streaming the show now.
Bridgerton (Season 2)
And finally, the latest Shondaland sensation Bridgerton got an announcement trailer for season 2. Yes, new episodes are coming. Unfortunately, Netflix doesn’t tell us when. We’re guessing the second installment will only land around the end of this year given that season 1 premiered just last month.
